|Priority||@0@||Severity||minor||Reproducibility||have not tried|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version||1.0.4|
|Summary||0000308: paypal problem with Dutch action|
|Description||When I win a Dutch auction and pay with paypal the total is related to a single object. For example, I win an auction for 10 objects when I pay with paypal I have the total of a single object. |
For me the problem is on page pay.php around line 74
$payvalue = ($data['shipping'] == 1) ? $data['shipping_cost'] + $data['bid'] : $data['bid'];
there isn't the parameter of quantity ( qty )
I have tried to replace them with
$payvalue = $data['bid'] * $data['qty'] + $data['shipping_cost'] ;
but I have not solved the problem. I think I mistyped the code.
How can I solve the problem? thanks ( I have version 0.8.5 but this problem is present also on 1.x versions )

wow cant belive this hadden been notice yet, well good find you also need to pull qty from the data base thats why your fix isn't working

Hi Renlok. There is still a problem and I'm using the newest file that you posted above.
When doing a dutch auction of 10 Items (no buy now), the other auction winners total price for there items are equal to the top winners total.
I think proxy bidding controls it so people have to pay top bidders price or not, I'm not sure, so I've tried it with proxy on and proxy off. The total price is always the top bidders price.
I also noticed If I have 10 Dutch Items and 1 user that bid for 3 items at $105, and one other user that bid for 4 items each at $104. Then they only have to pay $315 for 4 items (first winners amount). Instead of having to paying $420 for 4 items.
I figure it has something to do with database pulling winner ammount instead of user amount....
FROM " . $DBPrefix . "auctions a
LEFT JOIN " . $DBPrefix . "winners w ON (a.id = w.auction)
LEFT JOIN " . $DBPrefix . "users u ON (u.id = w.seller)
I tried u.qty but that didn't work, since that don't touch the database anyways, so figure it has to do with the DBPrefix section.
Thanks with any help with this.
