Summary0000442: paying to balance in pay.php leeds to blank page (Ver 1.1.0)
Descriptionin pay.php in line 31 the scripts expects the parameter 'a' to be 1 (bay to balance) or 2 (pay item) or 3 (pay signup fee).

If user wants to pay to balance (case 1) from outstanding.tpl/outstanding.php, clicking on 'pay to balance' button will open pay.php, but there won't be shown anything related to paying the fee. This is because in outstanding.tpl in line 8

<form name="" method="post" action="pay.php" id="fees">

 the parameter 'a' is not defined (should be 1). The solution is to change line 8 to

<form name="" method="post" action="pay.php?a=1" id="fees">

Hope I could help!

Thanks for the nice script!

You need to setup a payment gateway in the admin. Go to fees> gateways and enable at least 1 (lets do paypal with any email address to test it).
Then go to user account and attempt to pay, it should show paypal as an option.

I just found this issue with my default theme as I was examining all of my links and I had found out the code for myself and wanted to share it but, you beat me to it. I ran a search and found this thread before posting what I found. Good job itze and good job on the description of what each number does! Thanks!

So to make the correct payment page come up to pay the admin...line 8 in outstanding.tpl in the default theme folder needs to be:
<form name="" method="post" action="pay.php?a=1" id="fees">

All webid admins should want to do this if they want to be able to start accepting payments from their users!
